What size of tractor do you need?

One of the top questions we receive is how big of a tractor do I need? Equipment: 

-Plow: We recommend that you use 20 Horsepower pre moeboard. 

-Tiller, Box Scrapers, Rotary Mower, Blades: We recommend 5 Horsepower per foot of what every you are using.

-Hay Fluffers: PTO drive we recommend 15Horsepower or above. HDY driven also 15 Horsepower of above. Ground drive any should work. 

-Small Hay Balers: We recommend starting out with 45Horsepower. 

-Post -Hole- Digger: We want you to keep in mind, you will want to get yourself a little wiggle room if you have a 4” post you will want an 8”-9” augers. We also recommend starting out you will want about 15Horsepower. 


Lifting Power: This is how much your tractor can lift with the loader at pivot point.
